This type of paint is odorless and do not contain chemicals that might cause allergies to the skin and body. Such paints are designed to last for a long time which would be a good investment for the home. Such elements are known as VOCs or Volatile Organic Compounds.

Types of paints

There are in general 2 types of paints which are either water or oil based. The water based paints are easier to wash, containing lower VOCs and dries very quickly. When you buy this paint, all you need to do is to add water and it can be used immediately.

On the other hand, oil-based paints might have higher contents of VOCs. However, this type of paint provides you with a more attractive finish. It is best used to create a balanced work and do not wash off as easily. This means that oil-based paints would last longer in most cases but would surely be difficult to wash off if it stains the hands.

Which is better?
